Dr. Jacqueline Jordan, principal of Enloe Gifted & Talented / International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme Magnet High School in Raleigh, NC, has been honored as the 2024-2025 Magnet Schools of America Region 4 Principal of the Year. With over 30 years of experience in magnet education, Dr. Jordan has been a transformational leader, ensuring that Enloe continues to be a model of academic excellence, equity, and student empowerment.
Under her leadership, Enloe has maintained its reputation as one of the most sought-after magnet schools in Wake County, offering an expansive selection of Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB) courses, career academies, and over 100 student clubs. A champion for inclusion, Dr. Jordan has spearheaded initiatives to increase access to magnet courses for English Language Learners and underrepresented students, using data-driven strategies to foster greater equity in academic opportunities.
Beyond the classroom, Dr. Jordan’s impact is felt through her commitment to student voice and advocacy. She has created spaces for students to engage in social justice initiatives, participate in leadership programs, and collaborate with local businesses through the Enloe Business Alliance.
