With over a decade of experience in education policy, advocacy, research, and communications, Jenna Roberson joins Magnet Schools of America (MSA) as Director of External Affairs. Prior to MSA, Jenna was Communications Manager for the National Coalition on School Diversity, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing K-12 school integration policy, practice, and research. Jenna previously worked as an associate director at The Hatcher Group, a full-service communications and marketing firm focused on education and other mission-driven clients. Earlier in her career, Jenna was a policy associate at the American Youth Policy Forum, a nonprofit, nonpartisan education policy and professional development organization focused on education, workforce, and youth policy issues. Jenna holds a master’s degree in education policy from the University of Rochester. This fall, she will return to graduate school to pursue a Ph.D. in Teaching and Learning, Policy and Leadership at the University of Maryland.
Jenna lives in Washington, DC with her husband and two bunny rabbits, and in her spare time teaches yoga and volunteers with her local mutual aid group.
