Donna Elam Ed.D. is the founder of a leadership development network, Elam Leadership Institute, providing technical assistance on equity initiatives across government, education, and law enforcement agencies throughout the U.S. and U.S. territories. Elam has served as a Principal Research Associate and Senior Advisor on the National Comprehensive Center and two Regional Comprehensive Centers, and is a member of the Technical Working Group (TWG) for the US Department of Education’s Magnet Schools Assistance grant program. Some recognitions include the international Gandhi King, Ikeda Award from Morehouse College (Atlanta, GA); the Women’s leadership Award from the University of South Florida; and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director’s Award as a member of the Attorney General’s Civil Rights’ Work Group.
