How You Can Celebrate National Magnet School Month

Magnet Schools of America is proud to announce that this week begins the annual celebration of National Magnet School Month. Please help us raise awareness throughout February. There are many ways for you to participate and get involved!

Be sure to download a copy of the Magnet School Month logo and post it on your school website, and highlight it on social media using #MagnetSchoolMonth. You can also use it in your marketing and event materials.

2023 National Magnet School Month Toolkit

This year, we have also created a 2023 MSA Magnet School Month Toolkit that you can use to spread the word. The Digital Toolkit includes more images for your use, suggested social posts, and a sample press release. You can access shareable social images here as well.

If you haven’t already, download the 2023 Magnet School Month Proclamation and have your state and school district adopt it. Contact your governor’s office, state legislators, and your school board members and ask them to pledge their support.

Use our 2023 Magnet School Month Toolkit to help you craft those messages.

On social media be sure to use the hashtag: #MagnetSchoolMonth

WEEK 2 - Student Highlights (February 8-14)

Feature your amazing students! Share their projects and performances. Tag #MagnetSchoolMonth so we can amplify! Get testimonials from students and parents:

WEEK 3 - Engagement (February 15-21)

Engaging with the community and federal, state, and local elected officials is key to advocating for magnet schools.

How are you sharing insight and information about your magnet programs? Are you doing virtual tours or information sessions?

Reaching out on social media, neighborhood groups, and lists?

Let us know by sharing what’s working for your advocacy!
